Waste Water Treatment Energy Model

Computational model for simulation, analysis, and prediction of waste water treatment plant process heating energy consumption, heating water loads, and management of Combined Heat and Power (CHP) heat rejection. Simulation included the following heating end-uses:

• Solids Flushing

• Fats, Oils, Grease (FOG)

• Flushing water

• Anaerobic Digester Sludge heat balance

• Gravity Thickening

• Facility Heating and Ventilation systems
